John F.Kennedy And His Family

thosekennedys:

Providencia “Provi” Paredes, Jackie’s personal assistant, boxed up the pink suit from Dallas after Jackie finally removed it early in the morning of November 23, 1963, and sent it by special courier to Janet Auchincloss. It appears that Jackie never knew what happened to the suit - and never asked.

Jackie knew the suit was in her Mother’s home in Georgetown, along with he wedding dress

Possible the cutest, heartbreaking thing I could ever know.

Before Jackie died and shortly after the John F. Kennedy Library was established, Jackie was very involved in every thing: the layout, design, displays, and even the menu. So, shortly before her death, she decided Boston Clam Chowder (Jack’s favorite dish) would be served EVERY SINGLE DAY in the cafe. So, even today, Jack’s favorite Boston Clam Chowder is served everyday for lunch in the Library to remember him and his food! :)

It’s there on the menu my husband had some
